This Woman A Living Sacrifice Platform

HYMN
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.

Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

This platform is basically our Bible study platform which was rescheduled from Mondays to Thursdays.
It is our Ladies Discipleship Bible Study platform where the Lord has been gracious to us through His Undiluted WORD of God.
The Platform’s name came from Rom 12 v1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
It is indeed a burden on the heart of the Lord through our Mother and a plea for us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is only a reasonable service to the LORD.
This can only be done through the process of renewing our minds and live a transformed life, not a refurbished life but a new lifestyle in Christ Jesus as stated in verse 2.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
We have read and gone through the book of Collosians, Ephesians and now on Romans.
It is all about our new life in Christ Jesus. The expected lifestyle in this new Kingdom.
The book of Colossians encourages a greater devotion to Jesus. To see Jesus as the centre of all reality, so that we don’t give in to pressure from other religions or philosophy of men.
Because of Jesus’ Position as the first born and head of the body and because of His resurrection we are reconciled to God, free from the law and able to live transformed lives.
We are joined to Jesus as new creations and are part of His heirs or family.
As part of the new family, no part of our human existence remains untouched by the loving and liberating rule of Jesus. The suffering, temptation to compromise, moral character and the power dynamic in our homes must all be re-examined and can be transformed.
God is our friend yet we spend the least time with him. We are encouraged to get acquainted with Him.

The book of Ephesians on the other hand teaches to maintain the unity practically which Christ has effected positionally by his death and also the keeping of Christ’s body – The Church to be pure and holy. To be imitators of God as beloved Children.
Anytime you want the power of God to manifest, live the Gospel and preach the Gospel.
The challenge is can you pin point or identify any area of your life that has experienced a transfomation since the beginning of this platform?
Don’t be relunctant to release everything we need for our purification.
Make us the object of your mercy.
Ezek 18, Rom 1 – The people who refuse or accept the Word of God.
The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel:

“‘The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’? 3 “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. 4 For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child—both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die. 5 “Suppose there is a righteous man who does what is just and right. 6 He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of Israel.
He does not defile his neighbor’s wife or have sexual relations with a woman during her period. 7 He does not oppress anyone, but returns what he took in pledge for a loan. He does not commit robbery but gives his food to the hungry and provides clothing for the naked. 8 He does not lend to them at interest or take a profit from them. He withholds his hand from doing wrong and judges fairly between two parties. 9 He follows my decrees and faithfully keeps my laws. That man is righteous; he will surely live, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

The Book of Romans in a nutshell is that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation for anyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is Revealed from faith as it is written, “ The Rigteous shall live by faith”. Rom 1 vs 16-17.
